Qatar’s top female business leaders are making waves! Five influential women from the country have been named in Forbes Middle East’s 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen 2025, celebrating their leadership in finance, healthcare, technology, and education.

The annual list, featuring 100 women from 29 nationalities and 32 industries, highlights the region’s most influential female executives driving economic growth and innovation. The banking sector led the rankings, followed by healthcare and tech, with 27 new names added this year.

🔹 Mira Al Attiyah (#32) – CEO, QNB Capital

Leading Qatar’s rankings, Mira Al Attiyah climbed from #68 last year to #32. Since 2014, she has expanded QNB Capital’s influence in global markets, overseeing sovereign and corporate bond issuances worth over $50 billion. Previously, she held key positions at the Ministry of Commerce and ictQATAR.

🔹 Iyabo Tinubu-Karch (#59) – CEO, Sidra Medicine

A driving force in Qatar’s healthcare sector, Tinubu-Karch led Qatar’s first clinical trial on congenital hyperinsulinism and the launch of the country’s first cord blood bank. She also spearheaded Sidra Medicine’s BRIO-8 award-winning research in pediatric cancer imaging.
